UPDATE: Bike is sold.
I'm posting this for a friend; his son has been riding this XR80 for the past couple of seasons, but he's now 14 and a little too big for this bike, so my buddy wants to sell it and upgrade his kid to a bigger bike.
It's a 1993, but just went through a second restoration in preparation for sale (pics below). My buddy is really anal about his machines (he also rebuilt a '66 Ford Bronco and dropped in a fuel-injected V8), so this bike runs well and is in great shape. Would make a great pitbike as well as a kids' dirtbike.
He's asking $550/best offer. Alternatively, he'd be interested in trading towards a bigger dirtbike such as a TT-R125L, XR200, DR-Z125, or possibly a 125 two-stroke.
If you're interested, PM me and I'll get your contact info to him. Thanks.

umm....when he said trade, did he mean running said 125 2-stroke or XR200?
I imagine he'd take a non-running bike in trade, plus cash, as long as it's not a basket case. Why, what have you got?

both! but no cash...worth a shot though
I think the only way he'd take one of those without cash is if it only needed minor work.
