Things it has:

Milk crate strapped to the back rack.
Decent Shinko 705's, back has less than 2k miles on it.
Ricor Intiminator valves up front, less brake dive and good softness over the bumps.
Galfer pads front and back.
Braided brake line up front.
BarkBusters
Stage 1 jet kit with Uni air filter
The "doohickey" has been done with an Eagle Mike kit.
Valves adjusted at 17k
New steering head bearings at 14k
KTM supermoto front fender (less wind-steer at highway speeds)
Scottoiler
Last year, new sprockets and o-ring chain.
Smaller directionals on solid stalks instead of those heavy floppy OEM's that break every other day.

She needs nothing. Get on and ride. 55mpg in style.

Pretty? No. Needs a good wash and maybe a touch up or two. She'll never be pretty. Utilitarian all day long.

Will do 80 with no issue due to the gearing.

Great bikes that are stone cold reliable. I owned one, beat the snot out of it and sold it on eBay years later. The guy who bought it flew out from Minneapolis, picked the bike up at Logan (sight unseen) and rode it home. They're great bikes.

Front tire, still tons of tread. Should be good until this rear is spent in the least.





ScottOiler. Fill it up about every 600 miles, no need to lube your chain manually. Has the dual nozzle attachment also to lube both sides of the chain evenly.
