Honda ST1100 for sale. Sport touring, with lockable factory hard bags. 100 horsepower 1085cc V4 engine, 5 speed transmission, and shaft drive. This bike gets up and goes, handles, and stops ridiculously well for a 650lb motorcycle. Comfortable like a La-Z-Boy, and has a backrest so your passenger doesn't complain on long rides. These bikes are well known for running over 100K miles with just regular oil changes, and timing belt changes.
About 1500 miles ago:
- Bridgestone T31 tires front and rear
- Fork seals, bushings, and 10w oil replaced (Honda parts)
- Steering bearings replaced (Honda parts)
- Drive cushions replaced (Honda parts)
- Front brake pads replaced (EBC)
The bike runs and rides absolutely perfectly. I have a binder full of work done for the alternator and other stuff from the prev owner. Has upgraded 40 amp stator which cost about $600 installed by a professional. Has Clearview short windscreen, but comes with OEM touring screen.
I am the third owner, first had it from 1995 to 2015ish (this is to the best of my knowledge).
Asking $2000, PM if you're interested!

Also should mention I would be interested in trading for a 4WD truck.

Bump.
Will be putting this away in storage sometime in November. I'll still be able to show the bike to interested parties, but it'll be under a cover and on a trickle charger for the winter.

These bikes are legendary. When I was pulled over on my one long cross-country ride, probably adding oil to my Virago 1100, an old dude stopped to make sure I was ok. His ST1100 was purring like a car from the Jetsons. A couple quick nods later, homie was off and up to speed, making smooth distance into the sunset. Zero drama.

It's definitely the quietest and smoothest bike I've ever owned. The way it accelerates is almost like its driven by an electric motor - it's just a flat wave of torque that never drops off. The problem is you're going way faster than you thought, because of how smooth and quiet it is. It definitely boogies when you need it to.
The bike just does everything well, and like you said, it does it with zero drama and Honda reliability.
