Wicked tough, no one's even sniffed at my EX500. probably just gonna keep it and sell an SV instead. The grids are full with new racers this year, I thought it would be quick and easy.

i think for both bikes its that there are no classes left to run them.
they are more towards the Track Day only market.

Plenty of places to run, USCRA, WERA, etc. That GS of Sheppos has the hard to find starter bits to make an ULSB competitor too...

Safety switches (clutch, sidestand, etc) aren't required.

All this bike needs is an Ebay wiring harness, left/right controls and lights. Be easy/cheap to get all these parts from people who are making their existing GS into a trackbike or from a part-out.

Exactly what I was thinking, Rob checked out doing that on a completely different bike not too long ago....alas, he decided he couldn't get a 500 for the street, and he needs a streetbike before a trackbike.

Alternative is just to get a headlight bucket and ears you like, generic turn signals and then go with a dual sport wiring harness and left hand control switch cluster. I just happen to have the switch cluster...
