1999 Suzuki SV 650 For Sale ~ Maine

26,641 miles.

Properly jetted, needles shimmed, K & N in the stock air box.

Coerce Hyper Low bars. Otherwise, stock as it gets.

Small dent one side of the tank, small ding on the other, the usual faded tach decal, good tires, chain and sprockets.

Runs great.

$1500.00

I am leaving for San Diego next Monday so it’s this week or in a month.

Its been down as you can tell by the exhaust, and tank. Bars probably hit the tank and dented it, but bars were replaced. Seems like a nice guy on the phone!

The exhaust has not been scratched one bit... the angle that you are seeing is a deliberate, purpose built canyon carving angle. I'll post some close up shots of that later along with some other detailed photos. Are other stock '99 SV's not similarly equipped with that style canister...?

There is no rushing the State o Maine at this point. The time to request faster title service would (should) have been when I applied for the new title and at the time of sending in the application.

Should see it in a couple of weeks... At the time I did not know I was going to sell the SV.

Yea now that you mention it, that exhaust angle resembles the angle Yoshimura was putting on exhausts used by Suzuki in the AMA Circuit back in the 80s.

Not get super off topic but back in the 80s when the GSX-R came out, the Yoshimura race team was a factory backed team by Suzuki. Neat stuff.

I'm not saying Yoshi made this can but more like Suzuki realized what Yoshi had done with cans previously for ground clearance and did the same.

Funny enough, that was the plan but shipping got all f'd up so it is back in Maine and I'm in San Diego for another two weeks... with only a rental car...

We are in Wiscasset, Maine... Just up the coast from Portland by about 45 miles...

yikes, that is a bit over 3 hours for me, a bit too far to go. Good luck with the sale though! looks like a great deal on a nice bike. I just can't justify 6 hours round trip for it.

Six hours...? mice nuts... I have gone to PA for motorcycles before..! NY several times, had a Hawk GT shipped from Chicago... etc...

Anyway, I hear ya, it can be a problem finding time to do a day long round trip. I might be able to get the SV to Portsmouth for you but that would be for fuel and who the hell knows when... ? ! ? My schedule is just off the chain right now.
