    2000 Suzuki SV650 SuperSport

I really don't want to do this but life can play tricky games sometimes and I have to sell some toys.
Most of you know the bike and how solid it is.

Previous owner was mr. Tansey. For those who don't know him I will give you an example of how good this guy is. When I asked Pete G if I should buy this bike he said that i don't deserve it. LOL

Bike has ZX6r fork internals 0.925,and Ohlins rear shock set up for 170lbs rider.
    Scott's steering Damper
    daytona h2o temperature gauge
    Veypor computer tach, shift light
    Clean wiring with Keyless ignition
    Simple clean race wiring harness
Factory pro shift shift kit and star
    Woodcraft engine case covers
    GSXR lightened rear rotor
    Powder coated black wheels
    Sharkskinz tail - Ducati Lower
520 chain with some Vortex sprockets
    Woodcraft rearsets, clip ons.
    Kevlar brake lines
    Light weight and relocated battery
    Full Hindle exhaust
    Shorty levers
    GSXR clutch perch
Aluminum keyless petrol fill up cap
    Intuitive Frame Sliders

This is hands down one of the cleanest and well set up bikes around!

Asking price is $5000 obo because this is the bike that needs nothing and is 100% race ready and ready to WIN

Euros. I don't want to sell it and that's my start up high price. Make me an offer if you are interested.
Or you know you can do what Faucher did last year buy a $2500 SV and spend half the year swapping motors and trying to dial the bike in.

Want and need are two very different things. I won't take anything about double that

What's the status of the motor? Stock? Last touched/opened?

I'll give you the $2500 part of that statement.

Stock besides the factorypro shift kit and star

Tanz went over it prior to giving it to me in winter of 2013.

It will most likely serve me as B/Rain bike in 2015

    Re: 2000 Suzuki SV650 SuperSport

And for $5k for a run of the mill 1st gen sv race bike with no spare wheels/rains, you will have it as a backup bike. I appreciate you trying to "doc" it. Everyone wants to make a buck. Makes me wonder what you sold that crf for that I gave you a deal on thinking you would actually use it.

    Re: 2000 Suzuki SV650 SuperSport

The bike does have complete spare wheels with rains on them.

I def regret selling the CRF but hey it was replaced by a 525 that was capable of going on the street too.

You can call it docing or anything else but I paid a lot more than $2500 for this bike and it was worth every single $ for me. To sell it for a loss while I am not in desperate need of cash is plain stupid. It's a bike that is exceptionally well set up and will last a long time, I have a pretty good amount of spares for it and I know it will serv me great if I keep it as well.

So why would I take a loss on it? I don't have payments on it and I am not desperate for cash (yet). I saw a lot of people have a miserable season due to buying $2000 cheap SVs. This one is not in that category. Everyone who knows the previous owner knows that.

So another $1500 for the wheels and rains? Cause it's not listed in the ad.

    Re: 2000 Suzuki SV650 SuperSport

I don't understand what is upsetting to people sometimes? You were selling a bike. I gave you cash (at asking price iirc) what I do with it has no affect in your life? I might have crashed it and destroyed or might have sold it for profit/loss. How does make any difference in your life?

In this case I posted something for sale over market value (way over even). You might think I am crazy then don't buy what I am selling or wait until I am willing/need to sell so you get it at the desired price. It really is that simple.

Also $5000 is because I have to put on a price per forum rules. I don't expect it to go for that. But I won't give it for $2000 either. Not yet at least.

Are you doing a comeback in 2015? I thought that international MBA program you got in is like a year long or something.

If I think it's time to let it go for the $2500 range I'll post right up. For now it's worth a lot more to me.

I'm sitting in my final MBA course literally right now. I guess if I could get good equipment pretty much ready to rock, I'd be able to do it this year.

I'm sure a lot bikes will come out for sale as we get closer to Racing Season. Most peeps don't want to sell during winter.
I also know of 2 600s that will be for sale soon or maybe mid season.

I was under the impression you didn't wanna race LW

    Re: 2000 Suzuki SV650 SuperSport

I'd race LW since it's cheaper to get into and it's something I haven't tried, if the right bike came up.

I don't think I'd buy someone's 600 to race, I'd probably figure something out myself and it wouldn't happen for this season most likely.
