    2001 GSXR 750 Forks

    Hey Guys
I have a pair of 2001 GSXR (silver) forks for sale. I have put these up before but not since the SV is gone I am selling them. As I said in the past all I want is what I have into them. They are straight and in great shape (couple scuffs/scratches). I had them fully refreshed at GMD.

I paid 110 for the forks and 120 for the refresh so I am asking 230 plus shipping. If you dont think these are worth it please dont crap in my thread.

Picture was before I had them refreshed. Forks have the gmd stickets on them and I believe i have the receipt lying around somehwere.

    Re: 2001 GSXR 750 Forks

What was done for the "refresh"??? Still stock internals?

I'm about to do Racetech springs and Gold Valves in my '96 forks. I havn't ordered the stuff yet. It's gonna be about the same money you're asking for these...

    Re: 2001 GSXR 750 Forks

They are stock internals. It was just a refresh with new oil. checking all the components cleaning etc.

FYI there are USD and not standard.

anyone wanna chime in and tell me if this would fit my K2 600 without modifications & if there are any advantages/disadvantages to putting these on my bike?

DB do you currently have USD??? I thought your bike had standard forks and if thats the case no you would need to pick up 750 triples and new clip ons, possibley new brake calipers and a new front wheel.

    Re: 2001 GSXR 750 Forks

You have standards I am sure of it. You would have to modify a lot of things on your front end to get these to work. You cant just machine your triples because there isnt enough material.

Same deal as the last set of USD GSX-R forks that you inquired about (I think Q Factor was selling those). You will need the upper and lower triple clamps. Which isn't a big deal. And you will absolutely need the brake calipers and rotors from that same generation of 750.

(and come to think of it... I know someone that has every bit of it... call me tomorrow)

To the best of my knowledge you don't need the calipers, rotors, or wheel. Should be the same 320mm zero offset rotors. Triple clamps and clip-ons - yes.

Yeah unfortunately the triples, clip ons and brakes need to be changed. Maybe even the front wheel.
