So is this thing really streetable without tons of regular maintenance? I'd be ok with oil changes but not so much valve work all the time. If I had to rebuild the top end once a year, I'd be ok with that. Does it have a radiator fan so it won't overheat?

He works on the Road so His NESR time is few and far between. I should be able To answer any Questions That you need.

As far as Service intervals Its a race bike, It is street legal has a title and It was Streeted last year (yes its a Freakin Blast) Oil changes Should be Plenty as It only hold 1.1 Liters of oil. Valve adjustments are dam easy once you learn how to do it. I would go On SupermotoJunky And do some research. to Find out if this is wht you are looking for.

I have no idea if it has a fan or Not This is not a bike you want to sit in traffic with. (again 1.1 Liters of oil). When this Bike was on the Street It was not a commuter or an Errand bike. It was used to go out and ride the twistys and enjoy.

However posing on Newbury was fun Without a kickstand I leaned it against the light pole.

Sorry for the delays folks. As Daniel said, I am on the road a lot so NESR doesnt get all the attention is deserves (ya buncha babies!) Thanks to Daniel, btw for covering the questions. ANyway, everything he posted is pretty much the story. It was built by Jerry, the owner of Valley Motorsports, a KTM dealer. I did oil changes religiously, and my stock pile of used oil at the alley will attest to that. I am not positive on the hours, but I have done 5 trackdays, about 10 races and some practices on it. Also put about 200 street miles, yes thats 200. What can I say its too fun for anything but the track. As Daniel has said, and I would liek to reiterate so you know what you are getting. Do not buy this bike expecting to make it a daily driver or 600 mile/day touring bike. It needs maintenance (ie oil changes especially). I do valve checks, but it is generally good. There is a reason I am getting a different bike for full time duty. Now that you understand it is an attention whore, she will let her ride you like a good attention whore will. Buy her what she needs, and she'll make yer pants grow. If you live near twisty roads or a race track, you want this bike.

As for the dirt wheels: I have a set of wheels from a 94 250sx. I did a bunch of research before buying them, and the general consensus was, they will fit, but may need the bearings changed for the right diameter axle. The come with sprockets, rotors, and spacers. I never tried to mount them because I decided to just get a full time dirt bike.
