2001 RC51

SOLD

2001 Honda RVT1000 RC-51. The bike is in nice shape with around 7k. I am the second owner, the first owner was an acquaintance of mine, and like myself, a perfectionist. I have owned this bike for 3 years, and had planned on never selling it, however a back injury forces the sale.

Few mods, nothing tacky...
- Custon Undertail
- Sargent Seat
- Moriwaki High Mount Exhaust
(Numbered limited edition, 180 of 300. I have never seen another RC in this area with this exhaust...google it if you are unfamiliar)
- Power Commander PCIII w/Dan Kyle custom map (currently uninstalled, but wired to be easily plugged in)
- GP Shifter included
- Michelin Pilot Power rear tire (new last year). The front is a Dunlop and should probably be replaced at the end of this season.

Those pipes are Serial # 1- 300 very rare! Moriwaki's!!!

This is an almost idendical twin (Get it twin!!!! ) to My first RC51 (Degsy's old one) has those pipes! Sound nice !

That is the about the same deal I got for my RC last spring (same year, Hindle pipes, alot more miles) so yes that is a good price - but people are people and will cheap you to death.

Its a good deal man. I wouldn't sell mine for 5k, and I have ALOT more miles on mine. Hold out for the moneyyou want!

Xrocket, it's funny you say that because I got 3 calls from previous owners looking for another RC, all saying that selling was a big mistake.

I just sold her, and for damn close to my asking price. The guy who bought it (craigslister) and I have a number of mutual friends and have ridden together several times. This worked toward my advantage in the negotiations because he knew that I was a good owner who maintained and didn't molest her. I'm glad she went to a good home, however I'm already having regrets.

Same here, I sold my first one and shed a tear.
Bought another one less than a year later, only to sell that one also.

I absolutely love the bike for it's power, sound, looks and agility, but the comfort level was killing me... (Guess I am getting old )

If I ever have more $ than I know what to do with I will get another one as a toy to take out for kicks once in a while..
