if the 998 was "too much power" how would the 08 S2R 1000 be any different?

Umm 121 HP on the 998. 80 on the 1000.

Who said it was "too much power"?

When you were talking about selling the 998 a while ago you said that you wanted something that was more street friendly, the 998 had too much power (among other things)

I said "More than I need on the street".

I think the S2R will be more comfortable.

Good, if it's more comfortable you have less excuses

The S2R's 80hp comes with a wider powerband and less of a hit than the 998, sweet little street motors.

I was knee dragging the first season I was riding.(elbow, shoulder, & helmet as well)

I had knee surgery my third year of riding.(Dragged knee, elbow, shoulder, & helmet that year as well)

My knee has 49 healed fractures and I was knee-dragging this year as well. Stop being a pussy!!
