Due to an unexpected addition to the family coming in about 8 months I am hoping to sell a 2002 Hayabusa that I just bought from a friend at work.
It was originally the limited edition all black bike. Unfortunately about 2 years ago he decided to paint it silver to be different. Well, he did the job himself, so the paint looks pretty bad on it. He never clearcoated or anything so lets just say that it will need a paint job (Landrics?). I wanted to put it back to black so I bought an upper, front fender, and tail section in black which are not on the bike. The plastics on the bike now are pretty solid, I dont think anything will need to be replaced.
The bike has just over 40,000 miles on it right now, might go up as I ride it occasionally. It runs really well and I dont know of any mechanical issues. It has stainless Yoshi RS3's on it in good shape. Integrated taillight. The chain and sprockets are new last fall. Pirelli Diablos new last fall as well. New battery last year too but it seems kind of weak. I keep a battery tender on it since its still cold outside.
I also bought a used K&N air filter for it and an Ivans TRE which have not been installed. Also have a brand new factory windscreen not installed.
Obviously I had big hopes of customizing the bike and wanted to take it to the drag strip this summer but finances are not going to be there. I have only ridden the bike a few hundred miles since I've had it but it seems solid. I have a clean NH title for it and delivery may be an option for the right price.
I am hoping to get $4000 OBRO.
I will add pics when I get some taken. Thanks for looking.
