SOLD
Purchased with the intent of stripping down to the body and rebuilding. Selling as I will not have time to complete this task in a reasonable amount of time.
2002 WRX - 2 owners (I'm the 2nd owner)
Title in hand
Rust in both rear quarters
Previous owner caught the car on something in the area of the trunk seam and rear impact area which eventually began to rust (I have clean sheet metal from another car)
Needs clutch (have a brand new Exedy)
Needs suspension (have a brand new set 1" drop springs, you choose the struts)
Needs rear cross member replaced (have a clean one already)
Needs e-brake cable
Needs valve cover gaskets
Needs right side tie rod (not sure if inner or outer but the boot on the right side ripped so I'd guess inner tie rod. I have a new pair of steering rack boots)
PO stated the t-belt was replaced at 105,xxx.
Never power modded however the PO installed driver's side pillar pod gauges (all gauges work and are backlit/ dimmable Autometer Phantom white face - Boost, EGT and Volt). I have an OEM pillar cover if pods aren't your thing.
Has stainless braided brake lines
Current tires (on OEM WRX wheels) are in very good condition
AWD system works as intended
A/C system developed a slow leak and I do not know the location of it. A/C otherwise does work once the leak is fixed.
Also included with the sale:
A set of 17" Rota 10spoke wheels (I do not recall the particular type of wheel) with spanked Dunlops
Full catless 3" exhaust (unknown header, unknown DP (appears to be of a higher quality but no idea who made it) and Godsnow muffler)
Speedo/ Tach trim with two spots for gauges.
The PO was an older gentleman and I know the car wasn't hammered on based off what I learned about him. What fell short during his ownership is that he rarely (if ever) washed it, hence the rust.
Asking price reflects my purchase price of the car plus the cost of the parts listed.
