I also have a 2003 EX mines a 2 door though. I did just replace the engine with a used engine becasue the head gasket went at 201,000 miles because my newish waterpump let go pre-maturly (10k miles on the waterpump). The mechanic thought it would be better to replace it with a used engine than pull the engine apart and realize that the heads were warped from the overheating.

The used engine and replacement only cost me $1,600 too!

If you need a car and have $6,000 get it. they are great cars!!!
