Just posted up my SV650 for sale. I just got my Street Triple a few weeks ago, so it's time to let this one go.
You can see the craigslist ad here: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/mcy/3837974263.html
Some more info than what's in the ad:
Previous owner was a little old lady. Seriously. Head shawl and all. Like 60 years old? It was lowered and had a windscreen, and was otherwise entirely stock, and she said it was always serviced by SkyCycles in Cambridge.
The bike has only been dropped once, as it had no signs I could find when I bought it. My lowside was stupid. Long story short, wet train tracks are slippery and it was an unexciting 15 mph down.
It has been to 4-5 track days, but never been down at the track. Nothing to report other than the obvious - a stock SV suspension is a wallowing whale at the track, but it's manageable and I had a ton of fun. Tires are track worn Battalax BT016s, but have plenty of life and the tread is not worn weird.
It's never given me any problems, other than the front cylinder going out once in the rain (and it was ridden in the rain quite a bit), a pretty common SV problem. A new plug and a smattering of dielectric grease to seal the plug and it hasn't bothered me since.
Valve clearances recently done - one of them was just out of spec and was corrected. Confirmation (pics) available on request.
Uhh, that's it.
Oh, price. Currently optimistic and asking $3k on craigslist, hoping for $2700, so that's my forum price. Not in a rush, but that will come down if it doesn't sell soon.
