I have nearly the same setup in my basement. I mounted mine to the floor since it was a bitch to do when i mounted it to a pallet.
This thing is worth its weight in gold if your like me an use old tires on your cars. Free tires on craigslist + HF tire changer= I havent bought a new tire in the last 5 years and several hundred thousand miles.
If i didnt already have this id scoop it up in a second. GLWS.

Off topic, but how did you like this for motorcycle tires? I have one still in boxes and cant decide if I want to sell it or not.

I have the same one. Works great for me.

They work fine, but technique is important, otherwise it can feel like a battle. I think they can be improved in functionality a lot when you bolt them to the floor or something very heavy and rigid. The plywood base that I used is ok, but not ideal since you have to be stepping on it to keep it from sliding around and it flexes a fair amount.

I've used mine a shit ton. The HF is more rickety than No Mar, but it's held up for me. Two mods I would recommend are the Mojo bar instead of the one they give you and Mojo blocks retro fitted to the machine. Definitely worth the money.
