    Re: 2005 Honda CBR 1000RR

It's one of the easier liter bikes to drive around town on in my opinion (coming from someone who's spent time on the 05 R1, 09 R1, 1098, Speed Triple, and '11 ZX10R). Handling feels pretty light and she is on the narrower side compared to other 1000's. Fueling is pretty smooth with the Power Commander, so you can pretty much keep her in second gear and not have to deal with any jerkiness or bogging. "Buzziness" and vibration is pretty much non-existent through the bars. The brakes are quite powerful as well. I rode this through Northampton Mass almost daily this past summer and never had an issue avoiding texting drivers, stray pets, hippies, and pot holes. What really stood out for me with this bike was corner stability though. It's just so planted. No twitching, no surprises, just glued.

Here is the ebay link. (Mods if this violates any forum rules feel free to pull it) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...orcev4exp=true

I have bought many bikes from NESR just this year. If bike is as clean in person as in pic's. I would give you $3600 cash as soon as I could see the bike to confirm condition. Also what would you want for magical racing gas tank cover $?

    Thanks,
    Justin

Thanks. You're more than welcome to come check her out/test ride her before the auction ends. Truth be told, I'd prefer to sell to someone local. Per the no reserve auction, I'm confident it will get to a price I'm comfortable with.

If you can throw in one bag of Utz unsalted pretzels and some Newman's lime salsa, then you have a deal.

Thanks for the offer Justin. The bike is indeed as clean as the pictures depict. I can't go that low on a final sale price, but if it helps at all I would be willing to hold the bike for a down payment while the remaining balance was paid off (this offer would only be for local buyers obviously).

The Magical Racing cover I'm asking $290 for (They are $360 new before shipping from Japan and this one doesn't have a mark on it). Here are some shots as well as some of the other goodies that I had on the bike.

Magical Racing Carbon/FRP Extended Tank Shelter: $300
. A pretty rare piece and beautifully made. Fitment is perfect as well. This is longer and narrower at the rear to aid in support when leaned over. I thought it was marketing hype until I fitted it, and man does it make a difference. Your legs just stay planted on it. It also has a removable 3M Tankslapper guard on the sides and back. Magical makes some of the nicest carbon on the planet. Look them up to learn more.

Gilles Shift Shaft Stabilizer: $45 This cool little piece takes the slop out of the transmission shaft (the part that your shift knuckle connects to). Dead simple to install and makes a significant difference in shift feel (crisper for sure). Purchased new from Brad.

Power Commander III USB $260 Brand new. Sealed in the package. I picked this up as a spare and never had to use it.

Moriwaki Adjustable Rearsets $360 Quite rare. Allows for standard or GP shift. Original box and instructions included. These were test fit but never used...so essentially new. You will be hard pressed to find these on another Fireblade.

CRG Levers $150 Never crashed. Perch included for 08+fireblades as well. Regular length.

OEM Honda Solo Cowl $160 Perfect condition.

Leo Vince Rivet & Strap Kit $10 For the 04-07 Evo Exhausts.
