2005 Suzuki SV1000 S w/ extras, 5900 miles, $4500

Hi Guys,

I haven't been on here in a while, but some of you may remember me. Unfortunately, it has come time to sell my bike. Here are specs:

This is a black 2005 Suzuki SV1000s with 5900 miles, I am the original owner and bought this bike new at Columbia Motorsports. The is a sound bike with no issues, I'm getting married and just don't have the time to ride any point in the foreseeable future. The extras are: Sargent seat front / rear (your butt will thank you), Suzuki windscreen (Suzuki part, 2" higher than stock), Front LED signals, Rear Fender eliminator (integrated LED signals, plate light, and plate mount), frame sliders (just in case), rear spools, Suzuki tank bra, carbon fiber rear hugger (not currently installed).The original rear "shovel fender" and windscreen are included. I am also including my pitbull rear stand with the bike, this alone is $130 new. I just put in a new battery and will be changing the oil this weekend, so this is a turn key / buy and ride bike.

Will the seats fit an '03? '03 were weird. (I had an '03 SV650).

I know what you mean with the 650 but I dont believe the same change was there for the 1000. I am most interested in the back seat but I will take both and the stand if you want.

SV1K didnt come out until 03 so there was no "change" like the 02 to 03 650s

Umm well there was a funky change between 03 (650) and the 04-05 model with the angle of the rear sub frame that made a seat from 04 not fit and 03 and visa versa. Not sure it affected the 1000 but the rear seat I am most interested in for the wife so I dont have to listen to her say she is uncomfy.

LOL. My g/f spent A LOT of time on the back of my SV650... and she actually enjoyed it. But then again, she is dating me...

Thanks for all the interest the bike is SOLD to HP.

As an FYI the seat for the 05-07 SV1k was different for some reason. I had emailed Sargent a bunch of times when I first got the bike, it wasn't until mid 2006 that they started making the seats for the '05+.

I am curious because I have this little crappy one on my 1000 and I am gonna doubt it will pass inspection.

I don't remember where I saw this particular set up - but it might be custom? It just has 4 LED's where the plate is.

I'm not over this particular undertail, but it's already there, so *shrug*...

My old SV didn't even have a plate light and I didn't have any problems.
