    2006 Daytona 675 $4,500

Next on the block is my track day steed. It's a 2006 Scorched Yellow Daytona 675 with a clean title. $4,500 OBO. I bought it in the winter of 2013 with 5909 street miles on it and it had just undergone a dealer service. I've added 2,336 mainly track miles of Red Group instructor riding. One set of tires per year says it all. Right now it's sitting on a set of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsas with one track day on them. GMD did a full chassis optimization, added the Attack triple clamps, did a full front end suspension revalve and replaced the springs with K-Tech springs. I created a custom ignition mount for the triples to maintain the stock lockset. I also added Woodcraft rearsets set up for GP shift but will include the stock rearsets and passenger footpegs. The front fairing has a small crack near the mirror mount and the front windscreen is a bit blemished but never bothered me. Otherwise it's in very good condition and draws a lot of compliments.
    Thanks,
    John

Give the whole package a week to see if it sells. If not then I'll separate bits.

    Thanks,
    John

I'm taking some time away from the track. No instructing, racing or dirt for me for a while. It's time for me to regroup mentally and financially.

A lotta future red groupers are gonna miss out on some top notch, enthusiastic and all-around solid help. I'm glad I got to ride with and learn from you. Can't thank you enough.

Excuse the noseyness. But you still have a GS, right? So not done with the riding across the board, right?

    Good luck.

I'm very thankful I had the opportunity to help so many people enjoy a sport that has brought me so much fun. I have little doubt I'll be back on the race track again.

I'm keeping the GS. Maybe I'll have time to ride it now.

    Re: 2006 Daytona 675

John you helped me a ton at my second track day at NYST back in 2014. Great instruction and you encouraged me to go ahead and get into racing. You probably towed me around on this Daytona for 50+ laps that weekend.

I've run into a similar situation myself now. My first born arrived 3 weeks ago and made me think hard about my financial commitments and what's best for my family. It's definitely a difficult decision to make, deciding between what you love and growing responsibilities. The good news I know racing will always be there.

Buy this bike and I'll knock $100 off a Tony's Track Day price for you (or anyone else). $150 if it's your first track day.

    Re: 2006 Daytona 675

I'm heading to the Classic and can bring this along if someone is interested in it. The Armour Bodies body work sold separately and the price of the bike dropped accordingly. $4,500 OBO

    Thanks,
    John
