    2006 Rebel 250

Mom made the move up to a bike more capable of long distance cruises and is looking for her first bike to find a new home.

She scooped it up fall of 2020 with 1800 miles on the clock from the first owner. Threw tubes, tires, battery and a carb cleaning. She rode it the last year and a half and now it sits with just over 4K.

It’s pretty clean but has a scratch or two. Never been dropped and always turns on. Tubes were low this spring after sitting all winter and May need a replace or new cores. I may get to that if I find time to do so.

There is a nice canvas pannier thing for the passenger seat and an adjustable windshield as well.

    SOLD

Ugghhh! Daughter #2 is looking for her first motorcycle, but she's got her heart set on a bit newer 500. I'll show her this though, you never know...

Side note: I logged in this morning to post a "whatchya got" thread for her, and saw this first...

You certainly wouldn't lose any money selling this bike when Daughter #2 "outgrows" it.

Heck, I'd get it for a local scooter except for the fact that I bought the '06 Ninja 250 from the OP couple of years ago.

Have you ever tried convincing your very independent 22-year old daughter that she should get something other than what she's looking for?

She took her course on Vulcan 650's & Rebel 500's and has very much locked onto those. Trust me when I tell you I've tried convincing her of others!

If she’s already comfortable on the 500 she’d be stunted on this 250. It’s clean and runs mint but definitely a bike y suited for the shorter/smaller rider with near 0 experience. The seat height is something like 26” so very manageable if you lose balance.

$1500 is already well undervalued on this bike so I’ll pass on the 1350 for now.

No worries, my offer stands if she wants the quick easy sale.
