Picked up something a little more comfortable, so this one's got to go! Price dropped and taking reasonable offers!
A bit of history about the bike: I traded for the bike wrecked and repo’d in 2008, but with a clean title and mechanically sound, 5000 miles on the clock. There was cosmetic damage, but everything was straight and true so I rode it as a ‘streetfighter’ for a long time. The front suspension was swapped for GSXR components and I put some money into fixing it up properly; new fairings and lights went back on, and I had the whole thing professionally painted by Landric’s Customs. It’s now a totally new bike, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
The details:
2006 SV1000S
20,8XX miles (actual is lower; a few thousand were with very different sprockets w/o speedohealer)
2005 GSXR 600 front end, using SV wheel and axle
GSXR 4-piston calipers
Woodcraft 3” adjustable clipons (set stock-ish currently)
HEL braided stainless brake/clutch lines
Pazzo replica adjustable clutch/brake levers
Symtec heated grips (excellent for 3+ season riding!)
Puig double-bubble windscreen
Flush smoke turn indicators
OEM lower fairings, paint-matched
Nucular no-cut frame sliders
Techspec C3 3-piece tank grip pads
12 o’clock Labs SpeedoDRD healer

Continental ContiMotion 120/70-17 F and 180/55-17 R (less than 2k miles)
Brilliant pearl white paint (Audi S4 spec) by Landric’s Customs
Oil changed recently (~1500m ago?); Mobil 1 20w50 synth, OEM filter
Also included is a 2007 (I think!) GSXR 750 shock that I never got around to installing. Seems to be in good nick though.
I’ve put a lot of money and work into getting this bike the way I like it, and I’m sure someone else will be able to appreciate it.
The bad: obviously the bike was wrecked when I bought it, but the title is clean. It has seen a very low-speed lowside at the end of my driveway (someone thought it was a good idea to dump gravel there, which I didn’t see at night...), so there is a minor scrape on the lower fairing, exhaust, and slider. It also fell off the paddock stand once; there is a very minor ding in the tank where the clipon made contact.
tl;dr: sweet, sweet ’06 SV1000S with lots of tasteful work done. Asking $4750. I’m certainly open to trades and offers, so shoot me an email or PM!. Bike is located in Quincy, MA.
Thanks for looking!
