Thanks for looking at my ad.
I'm selling my 2007 Yamaha YZF600r with 28,xxx original miles on the odo. When i bought the bike from what i was told, 1st owner, the body was in bad condition but the engine was flawless. Since then this is what I have done to the bike:
Switched to Synthetic
Uses a BOSCH 3323 oil filter (just a bigger filter)
Ride it Short (left and right) Levers
Pearl white paint
14/49 set up
530 did gold chain
new rear ebc double h sintered brake pads
New front pads too just dont need to put them on yet
two brothers exhaust
puig race windscreen
oes frame sliders
brand new michelin pr3 rear tire (Will be put on this week)
Switched the stock rear shock with a brand new 08-09 r6 shock. Made it more sporty and a little more stiff. Definitely sticks more in the corners.
Thats all i can think of right now.
Things that are bad:
Body is probably 8/10 with 1 broken tab from a windy rain storm (bad welding on my part before paint job)
at the end of the season the sprockets and chain should be replaced (recommended)
will need new front tire at the end of season (recommended)
Need to replace fairing stays. They can be found on bikebandit.com. I bought one new one, only to find the other one was cracked as well. The ones closer to the front fairings i misplaced and are somewhere in a box.
Things id also throw in
a helmet, bell vortex RSD edition medium in size or a gloss black Bell vortex in size medium.
Spare fairings
Reason for selling:
I need money for college. I had enough but had to deal with some family issues and lost a majority of what i have been saving up. I attend norwich university.
Asking:
Im asking for $3000 with a little bit of wiggle room. Im also selling my 2007 saturn ion with 52,xxxx 5 speed manual car. I will trade the bike for an acura integra gsr/type r, 96-00 civic si, toyota celica or a good condition honda del sol.
Its a clean title, very fast bike with the 14/49 set up. Just like the CBRf4/i for honda. Its comfy and sporty, tops at 155. Never abused, never stunted, just ride and some spirited rides. Will let test ride if cash in hand. If damaged during ride, you walk away with it and i keep the cash. This bike has always been properly downshifted, and has never hit the red zone on the tach. I religiously clean the chain every 300 miles, change the oil (even though synthetic) every 3000 miles. I put seafoam in the oil 500 miles or so before oil change every other time to promote cleaning.
