2008 Ducati Hypermotard S, 4400 miles, never down with clean and clear title in hand. It has a few goodies on it..
DP Slipper clutch
DP steering damper
DP seat
Termignoni full system, ecu, filters
Pazzo shorty levers
Evo billett open clutch cover
Runs and rides excellent, and is a blast to ride. I dont really like riding on the street anymore, so I'm letting this go. Would consider working a trade for an 848 track bike, or well set up street bike that I could convert to track use.
Located in central NY, asking $10,900

Somone buy my 749 please so i can buy this!
lrrs428...Saw your add for your 749. Im suprised nobody has picked it up, seems like a really good deal. What class do you race in?
Forgot to mention... the DP rear stand pictured is included and I have most of the stock parts as well that will go with the bike. Also it has a nearly new set of Pirelli DC3 tires on it.

AM Class, ya i thought for sure it would go for $5800, I had it on craigs list for $6000 got one offer and that was it. Want a Hyper bad!
I think its just the time of year. I've been to a few Tonys track days at Louden, and have been up to see my friend Steve Schmidt race there as well, Am#418, expert now...well, till he moved to London. Wish I lived closer to a track to race, but TD's are fun.
I bet, I know when I was still on the road and went to the track, as soon as I got there I was hooked. I used to put 13,000- 15,000 Miles on a summer on the street now if i do 200-300 thats special. I grew up on two wheels mostly motocross and dreamed of competing now i dont want to stop. Wanted to get rid of the 749 only because I think I would have more fun and ride somthing closer to what I race. Im still thinking of turning my 03 CRF 450 I have sitting doing nothing into a street tard. But a Hyper would solve both problems. I woudl have somthing closer to a Motard and still have a Ducati.

Whats up Oreo. We've met a few times at some TTD's and I was with Steve last year at VIR on the yellow R6. We shared a garage with Scottie Ducati at VIR. Didn't make it to Louden this year unfortunately, been riding with NESBA a little closer to home, but I miss that place and will be back next year.
CEO, Probably not going to part it, but if I do I'll let ya know.
LRRS, I know what you mean, I get to the track 10-12 times a year and the more TD's I do, the less I want to ride the street. I thought about tracking this bike, but would rather have an 848 for track use.
WorrrrrdDon't recognize the screen name, but I'm sure I'd remember the face.
And you've got the right idea not tracking the Hyper.... the faster you get the less you'll like it. I know I wasn't all that impressed the one time I rode one on the track & the ONE guy that raced one wasn't exactly successful on it. From everything that I've heard, it's MUUUUUCH better fitted for the street.![]()

So what are you saying Scottie![]()
so what do you have done to your 848
Just food for thought, here's the rundown on my bike...
2008 848 ~4k miles, track only.
Dan Kyle 30mm offset triple clamps.
Ohlins 25mm Fork Internals
Ohlins TTX Shock
Ohlins / Dan Kyle Steering Damper
SATO Ride Height Adjuster
Woodcraft Rearsets
Termignoni Slipons w/ DP ECU
YoYoDyne 1/4 Turn Throttle
Galfer HH Brake Pads
That's about it... just food for thoughts.
Oreo, talking about Zack trying to fit his Hyper into a milk crate at the end of the day?
Scottie, quick question. I've been looking into offset triple clamps from Kyle and Dept. of suspension, and noticed they have 30, and 25mm offset clamps. Would the 25s be too aggressive and unstable, or further improvement? Chassis geometry, and suspension are on the top of my list for the 848, so any advice would be appreciated.
