I'll still be track riding. My plan is to start slow and relearn some skills....and this is not the bike to do that on IMO. My hopes for the Kawi were to build upon the improvements that I made last season. My first track day back after my incident and I was a good 20 seconds slower than last year. VERY disappointing for sure. I felt as though all of my progression had just went down the drain. I received a lot of input that this kind of thing is natural and that I'll get my mojo back eventually. To me though track days are supposed to be fun, not stressful.

I feel the same way Kim...the last TTD just didn't feel right after low siding at the bowl in the first Boston Moto event to me. So when I ended up not being able to go to the next TTD next week I wasn't too hurt about it. I guess start fresh next year and hopefully have a dedicated track bike by then.

I know you don't think it is a good track bike but give it a chance.

Them bikes handle like they are on rails when set up properly.

Get some one like PK to set up the suspension for you while there, makes a world of difference I tell ya...

It's not that it's not a good track bike. It's just that it's the bike that I had my first crash with and it has gotten into my head. I'm going to bring it up with me to TTD next week along with the DRZ and see if I can shake the demons. I sure hope so. I was having a blast on that thing before the incident.

It will take some time to shake the crash off especially youre first one. You did what I did. Got the worst crash out of the way first. Dont expect to get it all back fast. It took me a while to get my confidence back going up the hill from 3. Just push it a little more each time.

However if you do find it not fun anymore feel free to sponsor me with that ZX6. Ill gladly paint it what ever color you want and put your name on it
