The bike in this ad is no newer than a 2008. In 2009 they changed the nose and graphics. Double check the title to see what year it is.

They produced a few bikes in the 2009 calendar year that were still first gen. They didn't release the new gen until feb or march of 09 making the 09s split.

OP - passed it on to a friend looking for a Daytona.

This, Triumph does not have a hard line between years. They simply build them until they run out of parts.
