    2011 TT-R125LE - Lightly Modded

    2011 TT-R125LE - Sold!

    Currently has the following mods:

    - Measured straight by Computrack Boston in 2014
    - 1990 YZ80 front end conversion
    - - YZ80 clamps refitted with the TT-R steering stem for an OEM bolt up setup
    - - 3.3N springs
    - - Rebuilt by Computrack Boston
    - - RM85 fork guards
    - - EBC 250mm oversized floating rotor kit
    - - 2005 CRF250R front brake master and line
    - - Pre 2015 YZ85 front number plate and cut down fender
    - - Modded TT-R choke cable mount to match YZ80 clamps
    - Bridgestone BT45 'V' rated tires, 17" front, 16" rear, geometry set to match
    - Carb rejetted
    - Backfire screen and airbox snorkel removed
    - ProTaper bar guard, woo!
    - OEM 16" rear knobbie tire comes with the bike

25 hours on the clock, valves were set at 10 hours. Bike will have fresh oil in the crankcase. Motor is bone stock, and still retains it's charging system and electric start. The battery is 5 years old and showing it's age. Once it's been topped off it'll e-start fine, but may need charging after a couple months of sitting. The bike has been supermoto raced and crashed, pics included to show where the bike has been scuffed up from use. I will be pulling the backgrounds off the number plates before sale. I have the kickstand but need to order one bushing that's gone missing before the sale, that's on me.

Lowballers - I know what the local dealership will give me in trade, you have to beat that plus a margin to make it worth my while.

Trade offers - Yamaha dirty bikes of the 250 two stroke or YZ 250/450 thumper variety will be entertained. Outside of those I'm likely not interested.

Wanna be mini racers - Come to Boxshop, I'll happily share what I know.

I've bought bike from this guy before. He knows what he's doing. Solid buy for whoever gets it

    De-stickered, ready for your numbers.

In response to one request I will entertain offers that don't include the spare shock and OEM front end. I can bring this machine to the Classic for anyone wanting a literal turn key pimp pit bike. Sips gas, bone stock motor so you're not pulling the pin on a grenade with every thumb of the starter motor.

I don't think I'm man enough to trade this for my 450. Nice color though! Does it wheelie?

Psst! Don't tell the Motard Elders but I don't actually know how to wheelie.

I don't care if YOU know how to wheelie, does the bike? I need to learn as well.

Correct, I've got too many things going with just LRRS and a full size sumo, I can't have a third class to contest and stay sane. With the full size down I spent this weekend getting wrenching done that normally I'd be panicking to get done before the Classic had I raced.

Price updated, I'll deal with the other suspension bits separately.

Just out of curiosity; what's the point/benefit of putting a 1990 suspension on a 2011 bike?

Pretty much. I went from approx 7" travel 31mm damping rod based wet noodles to 11" travel 36mm upside down cartridge based units that are pretty much identical to what's shipping today as the hot setup for 85cc class machines. The TT-R's forks were meant to deal with a kid putt-putting around the yard, put an adult with no common sense on the bike and drop him off at a Supermoto track... it's a bad day for those poor forks. I was bottoming them hard, re-springing would have still left me banging around on jumps due to the short travel. Going to the YZ80 kit gave me a setup designed to be abused and added much needed plushness to the bike. Plus, if you wanna go nutter there are full upgrade kits from K-Tech and others for them.

Kickstand installed. Bike is not in my trailer as no-one has laid claim. I hit the road around 6ish...

Updated to note I have a knobbie for the rear, just not the front should you want to get dirty.

I'm teasing anyone with cash in their wallet and an interest in the bike. You just happen to be convenient at the moment.

My wife said she wants a grom. Maybe this would fit instead.
