2012 FZ1 in perfect condition with just over 2000 miles. First service was completed by the dealer, as was the most recent oil and filter change after coming out of winter storage this month. Tires are in great shape, no scratches, dings or dents, and the bike runs perfectly. Yamaha really built a great bike here, which is why they are still selling this model today after almost 10 years!
Skip the sticker price of $10,790 on a new 2015 and get the exact same bike with my 2012 for $6800! (The only changes in this model since 2011 has been color). You have to see the pearlescent white paint up close to appreciate, it really is nice.
Bike is mostly stock other than a tinted, zero gravity windscreen. Included in the price will be a Yamaha gel comfort riders seat ($200) and a Sargent rear passenger performance seat ($200). Full price gets stocks seats along with comfort seats.
Also included with full price is a custom machined rear rack (not installed). This thing is super cool and can be used to attach a top case (Givi or others) and incorporates a fender eliminator and turn signals. Cost $300 new. (picture with rack installed is not my bike, but shows what rack looks like on same model year/color)
Only other non-stock item on the bike is a battery tender lead. Bike has not been molested or modified in any way.
Super fun bike, nothing wrong with it and only selling because I have my eye on a different (expensive) bike and need some extra $$$.
$6800 with everything I have for the bike listed above
$6700 with both comfort seats only
$6600 with rider comfort seat/stock passenger only (or Sargent passenger seat/stock rider seat)
$6500 with stock seats
Base price comes from what dealer offered for stock configuration as a trade towards new Multistrada. Problem is, the new 2015's aren't out yet and I'm afraid someone in my garage is going to knock it over before it get's here. Plus, $6500 is a heck of a deal for an essentially new bike, so I figured I'd offer it up here to anyone looking for a clean FZ1.
Thanks,
Mike
