2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ABS *SOLD*

    *SOLD*

Posting this bike again. I had it up for sale last year but kept riding it and found no way could I let it go. A year later, I have reasons for reducing fleet size, so here it is again for sale.

    2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ABS (ZX1000MEF)

Bought new from Souhegan Valley Motorsports in March 2016.
ABS. Traction Control. Two ride modes. Adjustable suspension.
Clean bike, garaged, maintained and treated right.
    Everything works as it should.
    Tool kit, Owners handbook.
Clear MA title in my name in hand.
    13,623 miles.

    $6950

    Extras and upgrades include:

Brembo front rotors and DP pads.
Rear shock re-worked by Traxxion Dynamics, sprung for 180# rider.
    Re-geared from 15/41 to 16/39 per Motorcyclist magazine's long-term road test.
Dunlop Roadsmart III tires with 6K miles, I would run them for the rest of the year at least.
    SW-MotoTech “Blaze” saddlebags.
    Murph’s bar risers.
    HVMP SS bar end weights.
    Stomp Grip knee grips.
    Frame sliders.
    Front axle sliders.
Stock seat re-worked by Spencer in Florida (greatdaytoride.com).
G2 Ergonomics Throttle Tamer throttle tube.
Rider peg lowering kit by motowerk.com
    Extenda Fenda front and rear.
    FIAMM Freeway Blaster horn.
    Mirror extenders.
    ProGrip hand grips.
Gold Plug magnetic drain plug, safety wired.
PIAA Xtreme White Plus H7 headlight bulbs.
LED city lights (front running lights).
Fresh brake fluid flush and bleed last year.
    Coolant replaced last year.
    Regular oil and filter changes.
Pigtail harness for battery tender & heated gear.
V-Stream sport-touring windscreen (not on bike).
EvoTech tail tidy (not on bike).
Box of original parts that have been removed.

    With bags removed (quick-detach):

Has a couple of small garage scrapes on the right fairing edge, otherwise all good, ready to go, turn-key, needs nothing, as usual.

    Send PM with interest.

Thanks. It's a great ride. I just got spread too thin with multiple bikes, and I rode it only 13K miles in three and a half years. Probably goes without saying that I have never used all the power, not even close haha

Also wanted to mention that the front suspension is fully adjustable -- preload, rebound and compression damping. The rear shock has a remote preload adjuster (whatever you call it, knob you turn by hand, no knuckle-busting wrench work required) and has adjustable rebound damping. The Traxxion Dynamics work made a big difference.

Not to Hijack your thread, but I have the factory color matched set of hardbags if you or the buyer is interested. I kept them when I sold my 2014. (kinda wish I still had it, it's a great bike)
Feel free to pm for pics or info.

    No problem, and thanks [smilee]

The next owner might want the hard bags. Or you could buy my bike, since you wish you still had yours? [grin]

    Anyway, thanks for the bump.

Great bike, and lot of bike for the money. Just think, for the same money you could buy a leftover Vespa GTS-300 [haha]

Any interest in selling the SW Motech bags? If so, how much?

Possibly. Do you have the same bike? Otherwise you'd need to buy the specific mounting kit.

I have the mounting kit for my bike. Just looking for the bags. Also, does it include the rainproof liners?

The bags are complete with liners. I've been thinking of taking the bags off as a bargaining point or if I shop the bike around for a dual-sport trade or when I post it on Marketplace. So, "possibly."
