Up for sale: my 2016 Honda Africa Twin, red/white/black, manual transmission. Just over 15,000 miles, well cared for, most of those miles are long distance. I was intending to keep this bike for a long time, but then I rode a KTM and was smitten. So it's time to pass this on to someone who will ride it the way it was meant to be ridden.
Nicely set up for touring with a variety of extras:
- SW Motech crash bars
- Center stand
- Heated grips (Symtec ones that actually get hot, not the weak Honda ones)
- Two accessory power sockets -- standard cigarette lighter socket and a Powerlet socket
- Eastern Beaver 3CS three-circuit harness with unswitched power to the accessory sockets, switched power to the heated grips, and an additional switched output that I've got a power cable plugged into for my Tourmaster heated vest (standard coax power cable)
- Stock windscreen cut down for much smoother airflow
- Shock Sox fork seal protectors
- Tusk D-Flex handguards
- SW Motech quick-detachable pannier racks (these take literally a minute or two to mount/dismount from the bike)
- Rear wheel is sealed using Outex kit for running tubeless (and it worked great -- tire pressure has been rock stable ever since)
- Shinko 700 front tire and Pirelli MT-90 rear, a little over 2000 miles on them (I've run this combination before and got over 6000 miles out of them, so these tires have lots of life left, and they work great on both pavement and dirt)
- Stock seat currently has a BeadRider cover on it, which I was planning to take off and keep, but if you really want it, you can probably talk me into throwing it in
Bike is located in Georgia, Vermont, a short distance north of Burlington. Asking $10,500.
