I'll post pics later. $4250 asking price, located in Southern Maine.
2016 KTM 250 XC setup by a NETRA racer, damn near a cheater bike for New England woods. Trials rear tire, mouse front and rear, front fork heavily reworked with an open bath conversion (and refreshed by GMD Computrack with less than 3 hours on it since) it made my one day in the woods riding single track at the Hawk Ride feel like easy mode.
The bike runs and rides well, and while I've gone through it a bit, it's not my typical 'mint' machine. It's a former NETRA race bike that was ridden hard and not necessarily taken care of properly and shows signs of it's prior life. In theory it had a 10hr old top end when I bought it, but I've not pulled the cylinder to inspect deeply. I've put some new wiring to it, touched up the frame where it's had the paint worn through and started to rust, cleaned up or replaced plastics, revived the electric starter, etc. I added a sidestand, replaced the handlebar cush rubbers and lots of nuts/bolts/etc. I also have a street reg for it.
The 'bad' list:
Battery is an older Shorai lithium, 2017 vintage. Still going strong, but it's no spring chicken.
Due for pads front and rear, rear rotor may be thin?
Swingarm bearings are due to be replaced, swingarm bolt and swingarm to knuckle bolts both show wear.
Exhaust guard is a bit rashed up.
Starter is overdue for replacement, it's front needle bearing is toast. Bendix is also tired, was sticking initially. When I got the bike neither worked, I tore the starter down, cleaned and greased, bendix got deep cleaned in my ultrasonic, re-lubed, starter bushings replaced, but I dunno how much life is left in the starter.
The throttle side fork guard's outside bolt boss is partially stripped.
Front and rear mouse are not fresh, no idea what their lifespan are?
For the short (3hrs, Hawk Ride) time I've run it since reviving it, it was push button and go. Originally purchased to get frankensteined into a road racer, I couldn't chop it up after seeing how well it road in intended form, but then got more orange in the garage and just never made time to ride it so... time to thin the herd?

This will go fast. Wish I wasn’t keeping a lean herd while getting into real estate
Still dusty from the Hawk Ride, but pics as promised.
Slight interest but ideally looking for a street legal for MA
So, 'cause I'm in Maine and it's under 300cc, selling it as street legal is easy. I just go to my town hall, show proof of insurance and register it as a street bike. You get a bill of sale, and a street reg. Mass has to accept it 'cause Maine is a no title state for this size bike. That said, the reason why I haven't street reg'd it is the tire setup, you'd kill that trials rear and the mouse tubes in VERY short order with much street riding.
Edit: See above, I got a street reg for it. No street gear ala speedo/turn signals/etc, but it has a valid Maine street reg now.

Bike is now street registered in Maine. I haven't added any street gear ala speedo/mirrors/horn/lights, but it's legally a street bike now and will come with a Maine street reg.
This really makes me want to put my woodsy CRF450R up for sale and upgrade. I rode JC’s 250XC last year and fell in love with it.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Nice....!
So far I've had the following trade offers:
2008 Cadillac CTS 4 AWD V6 auto, needs O2 and ABS sensors
2018 YZ450 + cash from me
Just to clarify, not currently looking for trades, I'm looking to thin the herd not reshuffle the deck.
Price has been reduced to $4250, I have a GMD bill to pay...
