The short deets I’ll keep in the first post before I start writing my novels:
2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200XE
Under 1,300 miles.
3yr warranty.
Paid over $17,000 new.
Be nice to get $14500 though.
I’m sure you all remember seeing it on its side. Miraculously it only sustained light scratches on the left mirror and left hand guard.
new pair of hand guards and a new left mirror installed.
“Scrambler” with adventure bike chops, Ohlins suspension front and rear, more suspension travel than a KTM 1090 Super Adventure, not sure about the 1290 or whatever it is now.

I’ve had my drivers license since for 22 years and have had 21 cars.
Apparently my ADD is going to bikes now.
Just picked up a Ninja, and already am contemplating ditching all three for a Moto Guzzi MGX-21 (if I can find one) or a BMW K1600B.
The Triumph is definitely an acquired taste for a limited crowd, but throwin it out there..

Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
It’s crazy now that I’ve resisted long enough, but have succumbed to the bagger bug, reading about all these baggers with tons of switches that are invisible after dark?
The Scrambler 1200XE has cruise and fog light controls, and everything else it back lit. First bike I’ve noticed having that convenience.

The Guzzi MGX-21, which I think was only made for a year, there are only three for sale in the nation on cycle trader.
Amazingly, when I bought the Triumph, National had one for sale.
One of those three is amazingly in Lynn MA, but the guy hasn’t responded so it probably sold, but I’d really rather sell the Triumph first anyway.
The BMW… ooof, Max BMW has a couple but they’re almost 30k.

The fact that either of those barely makes use of mid-controls had me feeling like they missed the mark. I *NEED* something I can stretch my legs out on and neither of those can really be fitted with more forward controls.
Sick looking bikes, especially the Guzzi. But they need forward controls to really compete in that market.

Yeah, I read a bagger shootout from 2018 that placed the Guzzi last, but I love the look.
The bmw was first, but kinda a cheater sport tourer.

For a Guzzi bagger, I like the looks of a California 1400 in white, like this

... at what looks like a reasonable price, compared with those on cycletrader
[edit] Update -- too late anyway, SALE PENDING at NPS, not surprising at that price.

As much as I love the looks and suspension on the Scrambler, I love 160HP and a fairing more!
You should have zero trouble selling this bike on advrider. There simply just aren't enough people on this forum, and despite the name this forum always seemed to be more track focused than street or adventure focused.
2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure
2017 Honda CRF250L Rally
I would love this and I bet Sylwia would love it too, but we have seven bikes in our garage already and no budget for more at this time.
I bet a lot of other people here would love it also... so I don't think it's that it's the WRONG the audience, just that the audience is limited in size compared to ADV rider.
I bet it'd go quick over there.

There was a guy actively trying to buy my Scrambler on advrider a week or two ago and another guy who wanted to trade me a Super Enduro and cash for it. I was tempted, but it looks like I’ll have some extra moto money in the not too distant future, so the Scram will stay and I’ll give her some stablemates.

I posted on advrider…. And then like 24 other people posted bikes for sale, and it’s lost now.

Nice choice.
We had the Flying Fortress in the line up at Sturgis when KLP and I were demo guiding for them .
6th bike from the left with the red valve covers in the line up .
GLWS on the Scrambler sale .
TIMMYDUCK
This bike is posted here, advrider, triumphrat.net, thespeedtriple.com, and I just posted it on CL….. you know you’re stuck with a bike when it’s been 12hrs and you haven’t even had a CL bot or scam!

Don't forget FB marketplace. Yes Facebook sucks, but the marketplace gets a lot of traffic, way more than CL.
2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure
2017 Honda CRF250L Rally
I've had spotty luck with both. Nothing but strokers on FB with my truck. Lots of action on CL.
