    S&W 500

Up for sale is a lightly used S&W 500. Well maintained and looked after. Shot maybe 40 times. I bought this thinking I was going to like it a lot more than I actually do. It's an awesome gun, fun as hell to shoot but at the end of the day I'm a shotgun guy. So it's time to let this one go. I pulled the specs of the S&W website. If you would like more pics let me know.

I own a S&W 629 which is basically the .44 mag version of this gun. There is something about the appeal of forged stainless. It's a true work of art and a blast to shoot.

With only 40 rounds through it this is just a baby. Nice gun.

I love shooting this thing. That and it made a great mantel pice. But it's time to let it go. I'm a shotgun guy. It's time to leave the hand cannons and tacticool behind.

That was quick! I didn't even get a chance to post that I shoot a few of those 40 rounds and that thing is a beast. And beautiful artwork.

A Boston City Councillor proposed banning the 500 there when introduced, not kidding.

Yup...I've had mine for probably 30 years, in 12 gauge. Fully customizable and indestructible. The options & add-ons and configurations seem endless. I recently ran some 50+ year old "homemade" ammo through for giggles it and it surprisingly handled it.

That would have looked nice next to my 686. I always wanted a nice piece of artillery...
