    636 Racebike part out

I just bought a brand new bike to race so I'm going to start parting out my '03 636 race bike this week. I need $ to put the new bike together, so EVERYTHING must go!!! I'll get pictures up as I take them. I just want to get feelers as to who might be interested in this stuff. Parts will include:

*Frame with clean papers in hand (has a couple of dents) $800/firm

    *GMD prepped forks PM me

    *Triple tree set $100

    *Swingarm $100

    *1 Set of wheels $300

*Other misc. crap, just ask for what you need...

Hi, interested in at least the forks. Also, you mention frame so do you have the subframe and would you sell that separate? Thank you

*Frame with clean M.S.O. (has a couple of small dings in it, but is perfectly straight according to GMD Computrack)
*Ohlins 46PRXS rear shock with Eibach spring (this shock cost $1400. setup for 175lb rider.)
*GMD prepped forks w/ clamps (internals were done by Peter Kates @ GMD Computrack Boston. fork seals have 4 sprint races on them.)
*Motor with only 3 weekends on it. FAST! FAST! FAST! (prepped by Sean Sweeney @ SRE. He built Jeff Wood's R6 that took 7th in Formula Xtreme at V.I.R. last weekend. Has Kawi kit cams, kit ECU, thinner head gasket, Attack valve springs in it)
    *Swingarm
    *1 Set of wheels
*Front brake calipers with Vesrah SRJL-17 pads in them (only 7 laps on these pads. Best pads money can buy!)
    *Other misc. crap...
how much are you looking to get for motor, calipers and pads?

    got any rotors?

    thanks

I think I have a buyer for the subframe if that falls through it's all yours. As for the forks, do you need just the tubes or do you want it complete with the clamps?

ok thanks for letting me know, on the forks I'd ideally be looking for fork legs only.

Wheels have Dunlop N-Tec's on them with plenty of rubber left, no rotors - $300

I'd like to get $300 for the legs. These were originally setup by Mr. Kates at GMD Boston and were recently serviced (new seals and oil) by Sean from SRE. These work really well.

That definitely sounds fair, you are in the boston area? I am in watertown/moving to Waltham this weekend.

Also, they are setup for your weight I assume? I'm 160 lbs but not worrried about that.

*edit* I'll be up at penguin school friday and riding sat. as well if you happen to be going up. Just gotta see if I can front the cash right away

    Re: 636 Racebike part out

Ok. I'm just starting to tear the bike down, but I should be able to get it apart before the weekend and if I don't go up to the track I can always send them up with one of my buddies. I should be able to get them to you before the end of the week anyway. At 160lbs these will work fine for you. I weight 170lbs. What do you have for a shock? This Ohlins I have is the trickest piece you can get for a 636...

cool, you know if you haven't torn it down and all that it might be better for me to actually wait til next week, I could come get them from you or whatever. My bike currently has fully stock suspension so the rear is the oem unit as well. I would love the shock but I'm tight on money right now with moving in a new place and whatnot. Do you have a price set for the shock?
