    '99 WR400

I'm selling my trusty WR400. $1,400. The photos show the ice tires on it but that'll change next week to the dirt tires shown. Those aren't included in the price but if you want them and the tire wraps add $400. The YZ bodywork and tank are included as well as a hand full of spare parts (not pictured). It's registered and plated in VT and had an oil change and valve check before my last ride. This bike has been a blast for me but it's time to move on. It's not inspected (or inspectable in it's current form) but has served me well on roads, ice and trails.

    Thanks,
    John

    What makes it non-inspectable?

To inspect it in VT you'd need DOT tires, install the fender/license plate light that's included in the spares, remove the front directional signals as they are non-DOT (no directional signals needed in VT, even if they were OEM), add a horn and probably a speedometer of sorts (I used my QStarz occasionally). The headlight switch is the on/off switch and I'm honestly not sure if the high/low beam portion works. I'll check that today. I've had the bike at least 3 years and have ridden it on main roads a few times each year as well as a bunch of class 4 roads. FWIW I've only been pulled over once and that was because the officer didn't see the plate. He let me go without even a written warning.

You don't care. Just buy it. We'll find you some sumo wheels later. Can coordinate with Doug. He's already done this to a 400.

The headlight doesn't appear to change brightness with the switch from low to high beams.

Thanks John. I am interested, but need to sell some stuff first (and maybe make a deal with Colin to keep it in his garage ). I'll let you know, but don't hold it for me.

Just got the the dirt tires mounted back up and it's ready to rip. Actually I did rip it up to the local store just cause it'd been a few weeks since I'd been on a bike.
