The Audi will give you problems with the balljoints after about 50k miles or so, but will be more of a drivers car then the Acura. I've driven a bunch of Audi's but can never get comfortable in the seats - they're designed for someone a little taller. The Acura is a great car, but won't give you the feedback the Audi will - this might not be an issue if you don't take it out on the backroads and excercise it.

Take a look at the last style BMW 3 series (e46) also. The 330i and xi are a little more money, but great cars. Good Luck

go with the ack, well i would any way, love em just bought my third one last week

they are a luxury car with enough emph to get out of the way, and they got a honda motor so you can count on it being there in the long run

my favorite part of the ack is they all come loaded! no sacrificing one thing for another. ok just two things. do you want nav? and do you want a s? thats it

yes the audi probably does handle better and has better feed back but they are CARS that are daily drivers. you wanna screw around go get your bike

ok im done, buy the tl instead

That's why I purchased my TSX 2 years ago.

Options for the TL are: Nav, Transmission, A-Spec Kit, and Type S
Options for the TSX are: Nav, A-Spec Kit and Transmission

I think that's it. I'm not sure if the Underspoiler Kit is part of the A-Spec kit or if the Rear Spoiler is part of that kit as well. But I think that's about it for this car.

Acura will make you happy. No BS and if anything goes wrong during service, etc.. they will freak out and try to make everything right. Service is cheap unlike Lexus/BMW/Audi/M-B/etc.. and the cars are nearly perfect.

The only thing wrong with mine in the first 35k is I got 2 chips in my windshield this winter.

sorry forgot they added the manual tranny in the gen 3 models, and the s came back in 06 or 07?

i could only afford a gen2 (03) and my coices were nav and s. i wanted the s but i wanted the nav more so thats what i got

and after driving mine for 2k i think i would have hated the s type's stiffer suspension (i think) any one driven both models?

also my gen1 cl only had two options spoiler and tape deck also (i think its some sort of music playing thing a-ma-jig

) i had the spoiler and just cd player

buy an acura you know you want to

so the one im going to look at saturday is owned by a complete snob rich selfish bitch. hope she took good care of it. gosh, i friggin hate people like that...

she has another appt the same day so im hoping she'll take my deposit and bail on the other guy, i'm bringing cash!!

BOUGHT IT! 2004 tsx, red, beige interior, fully loaded, nav, 6 spd, winter and street tires....$20,000. She wasn't budging, but I couldn't blame her, it's gorgeous! I pick it up in a few weeks, will post pics! woo hoo!

32,000 miles, she babied the thing. I'm getting the winter and street tires, just got it serviced ($500), she pinstriped it (sleak), acura all weather floor mats.....it's amazing. All I have to buy are mud flaps and hopefully in a couple weeks I'll have her home....and at the track in April!

Did you sign some agreement?

Make sure that you took pictures of the condition that you agreed upon for the purchase. Also take note the mileage.

I am also looking for a new car and its driving me nuts. No good deals out there.

Your talking about high mantaince on 2 cars that are both expencive to keep up. BUT on the other hand the AUDI is made same people who make VW and is a FAR more reliable car then say Acura but not by much. comes to luxury the acrua is a very pretty car and a DEF head turner. So i think you save either way

i think that honda is more reliable than audi...from a few diff. sources.

anyway, i got the acura last night and now im just waiting for my cosigner to get off his ass and go to the bank so i can register it!! it's gorgeous...if i could make love to a car, this would be it! i'll get some pics in a few

oh, and i put it in 6th last night for the hell of it....

love it!!

Congrats, 'Chic! You made the right choice. Audi's, while looking nice, are fuckin' toilets. The VW/Audi group has one hell of a knack for building electrical nightmares. You'd have been back to the dealer more often for recalls than for oil changes...
