    I have 2 XD's and I love them. I even use one sometimes when I'm on the R1, awesome ventilation and the visor helps force the air into the helmet on a warm day.

    A medium has the same shell size as a large, just different padding inside. Not sure what a left and right check pad, and the center/top peice cost but it's something to think about. I did the exact thing with the red/white XD I bought from Seacoast this spring, it was a medium and we swapped out the pads for large ones, perfect fit

    i did the same thing with my RX7. got a good deal on a medium, and bought large padding from Seacoast.

    The cost for new cheaks and a skully are about 60-75 depending on Model.
