    Benelli Andretti X50i 50cc 2 stroke - $700

Got this scooter yesterday as part of a trade. It needs nothing but a new starter. It kick-starts just fine, however. Selling cheap to get it out of my way.
This scooter is a beast! It goes 47 mph on a flat, and with low wind can hit 50 mph. Power on hills is good. I can keep it at 35 mph on an incline and I weigh 155 lbs. It is seriously fast for 50cc single cylinder 2 strokes. It has a kick-start, and you will need it because the starter motor needs to be fixed. And I can fix it for cash buyer. Had it up to 55 mph on a downhill ride. Stable at high speeds. Handles great and feels very firm and tight, and it corners very well. Ground clearance is high, and it handles curbs no problem. Easy to park it on the sidewalk, and easy to go up and down curbs. The seat height is high. If you are new to scooters/motorcycles, then it may be high for you, but if you are comfortable on a bike, then you may actually prefer it. Storage is good and the seat storage can hold a full face helmet. The helmet needs to be upside down though to fit. As far as safety is concerned, the scooter stops just as much as it goes. 190 mm discs at the front and 180 mm discs at the rear.

Interesting, never seen one before, very similar design to the Aprilia Sr50. No idea what i'd use it for, but i'm always looking for a scooter deal for some reason I've done the quick google-FU ( ) research & reviews, specific questions on THIS x50i :

What year? miles? aftermarket exhaust? Any other aftermarket parts?

So how does THIS scooter run, other than the starter issue?

2008 with 900km, no aftermarket parts that I know of.

Scooter runs like a motorcycle and probably (up to you really) should be registered and insured as such. They're called Quattronove in Europe. These are race scooters???

Every scooter's a race scooter if you're brave enough (see avatar)

Wish I was closer. This would be nice to have until I find a Navi.

Benelli currently offers a 135cc version of a Grom lookalike.

Never mind. For some reason "Navi" registered "Grom" in my brain...

ha, I bought a Z125 for my GF which has turned into mine bc she's not comfortable with the clutch with all the traffic here in our beach town. She still wants to ride and loves the idea of the Navi but dealers here want 2.5x MSRP which I just won't do.
