    SPIDI "Marathon" Jacket -- SOLD

    *SOLD*

    SPIDI "Marathon" Jacket

    $200.

A very nice jacket, another impulse buy, I haven't worn it much at all, though. It has two liners, a waterproof ("H2Out" in SPIDI-speak) and a quilted, so gives you a good weather and temp range, with zipped vents. Size: fits like a US 44, maybe a little bigger, 45 if there is such a thing. Of course the fit feels different with one, two, or no liners installed. Clean, freshly laundered.

Some info I found on line:

"A jacket with a nice backstory behind it, the Spidi Marathon H2Out was built not only to be an extremely capable street and adventure touring jacket but also for a good cause too.

From Spidi: “Designed by Aldo Drudi in collaboration with Spidi Safety Lab, Marathon jacket has been conceived and tested by the famous designer on the charity trip "CAPO". This path started in North Cape and ended in Tanzania, with the building of a well in the center of Kenya.”

Constructed as a 3 layer jacket, the Marathon is comprised of an insulated liner, a waterproof liner and a reinforced and armored outer shell. Protection is a strong point of the Marathon with CE shoulder and elbow armor and the space to add back and chest protectors as well. To handle fluctuating temperatures, simple and yet effective Dynamic Air Intakes can be opened up on the shoulders and sleeves to drive air in. Multiple points of adjustment can be found to quickly dial in the fit and a nice touch that Spidi has added is a pocket in the back for a hydration pack."

    Features:
    Tenax Polyammide outer fabric.
CE Force Tech protectors on shoulders and elbows.
Possibility to insert CE Back Protector lev.1 or lev.2.
Possibility to insert CE Chest Protector.
    YKK central zipper.
    Fiocchi buttons.
Tenax Flex stretch areas on shoulder blades.
Perforated mesh lining to increase transpiration.
Dynamic air intakes on shoulders and sleeves.
    Aluminized insulating 200gr wadded lining.
    Waterproof and breathable H2Out membrane.
    Wide range of adjustments.
    Reflective areas for night visibility.
5-external pockets pockets, including 2 waterproof.
    1-inner pocket.
    Ready for Spidi HydroBack".
