Have you run this tyre before? I was thinking of the BT003 for my street bike but you have me thinking, where are you located?
    How old are the tires?
    Cheers.
    Neil.

Tires are about 10 months old. I used to run pilot powers 2ct, but hated them due to lack of feedback(broke traction without warning). Bridgestone makes a serious front tire and I LOVED the feedback on the rear. Kind of depends on your riding style.

    I'm in South Boston.

    Re: Bridgestone BT002RS set

I can vouch for these tires, they are without a doubt the absolute best tire I've ever had on a bike. (This includes Dung-laps, Pirellis, Michelins) The BT-002's stick a gixxer 1000 to the road better than pilot powers ever stuck a gixxer 750 to the road. In a nutshell, I have a harder time power sliding a litre bike with 40+ more HP shod with 002's...than a 750 with pilots. The 002's are the DOT maximum of 96% slick, oddly enough they are really good in the rain. Never hydroplaned with them on, and I sure as hell have a few times with the powers. I'd not try to be a hero in the rain, but I was impressed.

The BT-003 is a step up the 002's, more of a race tire. I don't think there's any need to go softer than the 002's. Last summer I ran mine at 34f 36rear for pressures and I still managed to get 3500-4k miles. Of course last summer with T-rd Tuesdays, I was riding mostly on the sides of my tires
