    Cheap r/c car

Picked up the Tamiya Grass Hopper re-release kit last month to kill spare time. Comes complete with all electronics. I can even throw in a rechargable nimh battery, great fun for kids (or the older kids on here like me), it's quicker and better quality than the dept. store stuff, with easy access to parts. All you will need is a battery charger and 8 AA batteries for the transmitter. Asking $100obo. (kit without electronics is around $100). Website has kit alone @ $150. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=58346
    Thanks for looking!

I remember that these things were THE R/C buggy to have back in the day...

I would be all over this, but i moved up to Nitro power instead of battery power.

Holly crap, talk about a throw back. My dad had one of these when I was about 10. It took about all day to charge all the batteries. And about 1 hour to kill em all at the park. Damn that car was fun.

I still play with RC stuff, mainly planes, but I've still got a truck. I switched to LiPo, so if anyone is eying this and worried about the cost of a charger I've got a decent NiMh one I'd let go for next to nothing.

This is a good deal, btw.
