I'm going to let it ride and hope someone that needs it to go racing sees it. Killer deal, how else do you go racing for that $ and actually be competitive in a class?

Yup. I have a friend I garage with, BJ Worsham, who is sort of the crack dealer of ptwins. He's always getting them cheap, race prepping them and selling them to new racers. Shoot me a PM with your email and I'll send it to him, or I can ask him what he's got. Either way let's take it to PM so we're not cluttering this FS thread.

I'll keep this reply in this thread, only because it's relevent to the OP's FS.

There is NO cheaper way to go racing than ptwins. The bikes are cheap (within reason, cheaper than any other race bike that can be competitive in any class as far as I know).

The rules require you to leave most everything stock, save for suspension, brake pads, etc. so there's no mad dash to spend $5K hopping the bike up to hang in your class. We even run stock exhaust!

The bikes run on pump gas, and if you show up with 5 gallons and run 3 races and all your practices you'll have a bit left over. I can do 3 races (1 GTL), 4 practices (2 each day), and Fri practice on 5 gallons and a little in the tank of the bike (which I don't fill).

As a novice, you'll get a season out of a set of tires. Even as an expert winning races, you get quite a few races out of a single set of shoes. Find me a MW guy running weekends (plural!) on one rear tire on a MW.

The group that runs it is very tight-knit. We share all our secrets and help each other out like you wouldn't believe. I'm talking about people staying up all night helping their competition fix the bike.

Parts are cheap and plentiful.

It's a SHIT-TON of fun. Metric shit-ton, possibly.
