    2002 Honda CRF450R Motard

Yes, I'm selling it. It's a blast, but it's way more built than I need at this point, and I'm too lazy to do the maintenance it probably requires.

2002 Honda CRF450R. I'm the second owner, and have used it only at one trackday. The previous owner had $6K+ into the bike. KBB trade-in is $1690, $2510 retail (as a dirt bike of course).

The wheels/tires on there now are silver Excel 17" wheels with Bulldog oversize spokes and OEM powdercoated hubs with Dunlop supermoto slicks. Second set of wheels/tires are black Excel 17" wheels with Excel hubs, I believe Bulldog OS spokes as well, and Maxxis rain tires.

New Pivot Works bearings all around
    Showa SM tuned front/rear suspension
    Pro Taper handlebars
    Cycra handguards
    Magura hydraulic clutch
JE forged top end with all new Ferrea stainless steel vales, springs, retainers, and locks
    Hot Cams stage 2 camshaft
New OEM timing chain and sprocket
    Ported and blueprinted head
    Ported intake
Tokyo Mods ignition box with handlebar switch
    K & N air filter
New DP clutch plates steel and carbon fiber, and DP clutch springs
Boysen clutch cover, high-flow water pump, and water pump cover
Boysen Hot Shot 2 Accelerator Pump cover
    Boysen intake air splitter
ASV C5 clutch and brake levers
Hammerhead billet brake and clutch levers
    MSR polished rear brake guard
    SRC chain/case saver
TM Design Works HD chain guide
    DID gold chain
Four (4) Vortex billet rear sprockets
    Renthal front sprocket
Frame, subframe, swingarm and kickstart all powdercoated black
APPLIED billet offset upper and lower triple clamps
OEM stepper seat (will also include SDG stepper grip seat)
FMF TI4 half system w/stock header (will include two extra, stock pipes) Supermoto Engineering axle, peg, and handlebar sliders (rear axle sliders have integrated, billet chain adjusters)
    New throttle cables
    JD jet kit
Goodridge stainless steel brake lines front and rear
EBC race brake pads front and rear
All-new Cycra plastics with vented front number plate
    SME muffler slider
    Polished rear suspension linkage

I'm sure there are a few more things I forgot here... Bike has been very well maintained. Oil changed every three rides. There's only about 14 hours on the motor since all the parts above went in.

Clean CT motorcycle title - ready to be registered as a street bike.

Asking $5000 on Craigslist, but very negotiable on that price for a quick sale on NESR. (Peanut gallery: pipe down.) Will also entertain trades for a stock-motored, registerable sumo.

(It was raining out when these pics were taken - there aren't any spots/runs/etc on the seat/plastics/frame/tires...)

No problem, just checking, thought I might get lucky.

    Good luck with the sale

Hopefully I'll be on a very similar bike next season

I love it, and will be getting another tard, just something a bit more toned down. I'll definitely sell you the motor...for around 4500, and it comes with a lot of spare parts

    Re: 2002 Honda CRF450R Motard

Added point of interest: this bike has been down, in T6 at Loudon. Spun twice on its left side, then stopped in the gravel. The axle and bar sliders, and the handguard bracket, on the left side were the only things that touched the ground.

Kitt - any interest in a trade? Would have to "research" your FS post a bit more first, but...

That might not be bad. Pesty has a 510R - actually my first motard ride - I'll have to find some of his posts again talking about maintenance... In the meantime, PM me with yr, miles/hours, mods, condition, all that jazz

bumpage. Interestingly enough, had a potential trade on a different SM610 that seems to be falling through w/o the guy even looking at my bike

Tempting, but the 510 is more maintenance-intensive than I'm interested in right now...
