Motor 500$, wheels 300$, tank 150$, calipers 50$, seat 50$, headlight 30$. Seems to be all that is salvageable. Money loser in my opinion and I own and love these bikes. It would take 1500$ to get this streetable with fairings and even then you would only get 3k from the stupidest buyer.

+1... I picked one up on the cheap and it has been nothing but a project. Fun, but a project regardless.

Yep, just picked up a comparable TL1000S project. Fun, but for much less. Naked metric 1000 twins don't hold much value from that era.

I picked up a 1998 Superhawk for $1600 late summer and spent about $150 to get it fixed up (was down at slow speed and needed the carb diaphragm replaced). Great motor and bike. That is way overpriced for $1500!

The ZRX is a steal...love the looks and the torque

I always felt real pity for the guy who's crying in the driveway as Im driving away with his 'baby' in the back of my truck for chump change, while his wife has a grin ear to ear upstairs doing the happy dance............
