    One-of-a-Kind Collectable Daytona 675

    Price Change: $5900

Putting up my 2006 Fusion White Triumph Daytona 675. It is a one-of-a-kind OEM produced unit in the 675’s inaugural year… This was a special order from the factory and was the only one ever produced. Even the Triumph logo is unique - it's the older, retired version because there was no blue version of the new logo in 2006.. Sort of like a misstamped coin. I purchased it from the Triumph national marketing manager in 2008 with 300 miles on it. It is the bike pictured here: http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/ne...ona/index.html

The bike is in outstanding shape… Meticulously maintained. Never down, never tracked/raced, 5,xxx miles. $5,900 with everything below. Due to the unique history/cachet of this bike I don’t want to sell individual items at this time.

Bits, modifications, collectable swag and other inclusions:

    • Triumph leather jacket, about US size 40/42 (worn just a few times)
    • Carbon Fiber Front Fender (and original white fender)
    • Carbon Fiber Rear Hugger
    • Carbon Fiber Infill Panels (and original infills)
    • Carbon Tank Pad
    • Factory Painted OEM Original Fusion White Seat Cowl
    • Black Pazzo levers (seen in the lawn pic)
    • APE CCT
    • Integrated turn signal tail light
    • Brand new battery this Spring
    • Gel seat (and original OEM Seat)
    • 2 spare passenger seats
    • Spare headlight assembly
    • Triumph bike cover
    • Copies of original correspondence to confirm special paint order
    • Letter of authenticity from Triumph
    • Digital images of the bike being built in the factory
    • Original Triumph Priority Reservation Customer Kit (Poster, Hat)
    • Service Manual (though not in great condition)
    • Copies of Motorcyclist and Sport Rider 2006 issues introducing the 675 on the cover
    • Other miscellaneous parts and marketing materials

I've ridden with Tom a couple of times now and seen this bike in person. While all D675s are gorgeous bikes, there is something different about this one that stands out to anyone who knows the Daytona's. Like he said, it is unique and from the inaugural year.

Tom is a quality guy and you can be assured that the conditions he says the bike is in is the truth.

Totally random question, but did you used to live in a condo in Brookline right by the Brookline hills/village T stop? I remember getting off the train back in 2008, and seeing this in the garage under a condo building, and talking to the owner.

You Sir know nothing of true greatness. I of course refer to ones ability to steal, drink and generally do nothing, and carry it off with style

That's me. Think I remember talking with you. I'm out in Franklin these days to help my commute but man I miss that Brookline place...

Hey Tom! Still have that naked FZ6? I remember seeing your Daytona - it is gorgeous! I moved on from the FZ6 to a VFR...big bike, but loving it! Good luck with the sale.

Thanks! Still have the naked FZ6 but you may see that go up on here as well... as part of a 2 phase plan to "downsize" into a Street Triple.

You do mean a Street Triple R, right? Totally worth the extra couple hundred bucks!

Come on people, buy this D675! You won't find a more well taken care of bike.

Not going to lie Tom, I used to drool over this thing at work when I had my scorched yellow 675. Yours was the only one I ever wanted worse than the one I already had.

I think I'm going to regret it as soon as it sells. Part of why it has been the longest selling cycle ever...

If it sells to me, you can visit. I won't be able to un-street the SV (I won't want to take this one on certain rides, I don't think), so I might even let you ride it.
