John Deere 526 Snowblower

The snowblower is a john deere 526. It's older, but beastly and runs very strong.

26" width. Has a tecumseh 5HP motor. 2 stage. Throws snow very well.

The only thing is that the throttle seems to be stuck open and I haven't had a chance to look into it. So you need to play with it a bit when trying to start it to ensure it doesn't flood. I turn it off by closing the petcock on the fuel tank. Honestly I'm sure this is a 5 minute job to fix but I haven't had the time to investigate. Once I get it going I just rip through the whole driveway and then close the petcock and let it run out.

I think like $200 would be a good deal for anyone on this. You must pick up.

how far does it throw the snow? I'd like an easy way to clear off the pond, but my older snowblower only throws about 5'... which is about 15' too short.

If the snow is light and fluffy, certainly 15 or 20 feet. If it's wet and heavy, more like 5 or 10. I think that's pretty common for any snowblower. Let me know.
