Wanted. Concrete saw.

I have some issues with the skimmer lines on my inground pool. Need to rent a concrete saw. Anyone got one?

worst case scenario degsy, buy a cheap circular saw (i say cheap because you will ruin it) and just throw a masons blade in it. of course finding the right tool for the job is best, but if you are in a pinch the circular saw will work.

Have you tried to snake out the lines? Or did you do a ad thing and not drain enough water over the winter?
I have a blade you can use for a skill saw if you need it.

problem is losing pressure on the skimmer line and one of the return lines. Very likely caused by termites. I have it under control and I have some pool folks fixing it for me. I just want to save some costs by cutting the concrete myself.

Termites eat PVC or ABS pipe??

FYI you can rent a demo saw at home depo. I would suggest full eye protection, hearing proection, pants and full length sleeves.

To keep dust down just have someone nearby house down the area, then cut, then hose etc.

A day rental is like 50 bucks or so.

...and yes, termites will eat the pvc piping if it's not buried deep enought...GRRRRRRR.

Ability to not saw off limbs - erm, I'll get back to you.

50$ takes it then throw a concrete blade on it and go to town. its cheaper than renting one, and i have only used it once and realized its not for me.

Chences of me cutting off a limb with a right-handed saw - pretty good.
Chances with a left-handed saw - Fucking definite.
