    Coupla two smoke street bikes

    Sold, thanks!

    https://boston.craigslist.org/nos/mc...382673069.html

Offering up one (or both) of my 250 two strokes. I brought these over from Japan a few years ago and ride them both regularly as weather permits. Neither are showpieces, but both are really great riders. The Honda is the shower, and the Suzuki is the goer. The chassis on the Honda is slightly larger and fits me a little better, so that's the one I'd prefer to keep if I had the choice, and I priced it accordingly. If both happen to sell, I'll be rolling that money into an RG500.

    NESR discount will be applied!

If every ad on CL was as well-written and complete as this one, CL would have a much better reputation.

Hah, thanks guys! I’d love to keep the nsr but if someone is willing to pay up for it I’ll gladly go to Japan and get another. Iconic had a 400 at auction this week that seemed like it was gonna go cheap but didn’t hit its reserve.

Shipping right now makes getting a replacement very expensive, thats why your bike is such a good deal. I think its about 4 or 5k to get a bike from japan now and thats just shipping.

You might be right, I haven’t shipped any bikes over since covid.

If you end up looking for an RG 500 I know of one in New England I was just offered. It’s original, but I am not in the market.

Thanks, I usually spend way more time on my ads, but I figured with these bikes....if you want them, you want them. You probably don't care when the air filter was changed or how many miles are on the chain.

Nick, forwarded the eBay listing to Dan at RareSportBikes and he blogged about it - https://raresportbikesforsale.com/su...wolf/#comments. Hopefully puts a few more eyes on it

I really hope you get what you want for this. If i wasnt stuffed full of vehicles now i would be all over it. They really are a blast to ride and upkeep isnt that bad.

Thanks! I'm not worried about hanging on to one or both of them, but was hoping to free up some cash for a new Tiger/FTR/500 2 stroke. Like you said, they're super fun to ride and pretty drama-free. I hate adjusting valves!

My guess is closer to $30k. Prices for good bikes are high at the moment!

No joke. It was at $15k within a few hours of being posted and still has 6 days left (and hasn't hit the reserve). Part of me thought it might go on the cheaper end since it's not original, but it is exceptionally well built and would be basically exactly as I'd want it.

The seller is a friend of mine, reserve is $25k. I think it will go higher…. Let’s see!

Nice little reminder of why I don't usually sell bikes on eBay...Walter sold, and now the buyer has backed out. Gotta love it.

Do they still allow you to offer to the next highest bidder without restarting the auction?

Yeah, I sent messages to the next 3 bidders and didn't get responses. All good!
