In an effort to give my SV650S more leg room, I had a local shop build up this seat from a stock SV650 seat pan. It is heavily padded so that it is almost 2" taller than stock. When you sit on it, there is some compression but it probably gives you an extra inch of leg room and more padding than a stock seat. Cover is also a heavier material.
Suzuki makes a "Tall Touring" saddle for the V-Strom and this was my effort to make one. Cost me well over $100 (on top of the stock seat) and only used a couple of times.
I've sold the bike so first $80.
P.S. I know what you are thinking: "he's an old guy and this seat would look incredibly dorky on my SV while I stroll into the local Starbucks with a Nina Dobrev lookalike on my arm." Well, not so much.
