no trades sorry there v2win as for plans well I have a few things that need tinkering. the bike has an exhaust leak at the rear header pipe (it's basically loose on both ends), so either new gaskets or some finessing of the clamps. otherwise the bike is in excellent shape. I began taking it apart to see what "free mods" had been already done to it. I found a power commander (so map upgrade), and that was it. I had been reading a few things online about airbox restrictions, unnecessary emissions equipment, and gearing so that will be next on the list.

The graphics on the bike are OK, but I want to paint it a glossier black and stick with this color scheme. The graphics I would pick up (large honda wings w/ shadows, "RVT Racing" "RC51" "1000R" stickers) for each side run about $200. Those will likely be silver with maybe purple shadows and annodized purple wheels. Just a thought, but I will likely keep with a stock-looking color. Not sure which colors came here in America..

I see. I'll have to dig into the wiring by the looks of it, could check it out. The bike does look faily unmolested so it may not have been done, but it is 11 years old..

yep it's actually all bubbled out because the exhaust runs right there. but it also is just the wrong font. it's obviously been repainted before, or at least re-graphic'd. I'm still trying to piece together a sticker graphics kit.

yep something like that would float my boat. nice looking bike there, although I do like the 6-spoke wheels better. that's right in line with what I have been looking for in pictures.
