1998 Biuck Regal - garage man special.

    Runs but needs work.
Basically did not see alot of driving. Owned by an 82yr old lady(my mom).
Just recently taken off the road.
Brakes, lines, wheel cylinders maybe, gas tank and lines maybe.
    >79K
But it does have new tires!
So no brakes means not driveable.
    No reasonable offer refused.
I know it is a little late for a winter beater sale.

Sounds drivable, It a question of is it stoppable
What makes you question the Brakes, lines, wheel cylinders, fuel tank & lines?

i can field a guess at this one..
unfortunately, GM cars and trucks of the 90s have a nasty habit of rusting out brake lines and fuel lines HORRENDOUSLY. I've seen fuel lines swollen to twice their normal size with flaked up rust, just waiting for a bump in the road to jostle them hard enough to rupture and become a rolling maltov cocktail.. and brake lines that i wouldn't trust to stop a go kart.

    Yes that could be true.
Like I said, the car sat around alot.
Just going on what the local mechanic said after haver her up on the lift.
I did inspect myself, so it might be less work than expected.
I'm not looking and don not care.

Want the car....just make an offer

    Geez,
I thought some mechanic in my neck of the woods would have offered at least $500.

Yep...and sitting with a junker in the yard while eBay tries to sell the parts off.

Sorry to say but there's a fair amount of coin that needs to go into that car before it will be truly roadworthy...not trashing, just calling it like I see it.

I offer 200 and I'll dig it outta the snow.

    ^^

Yeah but did you offer to dig it out of the snow?

200 and I won't complain about the blown struts from sitting forever.

Longer that car sits the worse off it is.
