Alpinestar MX1 Jacket

Up for sale is my Alpinestar MX1 jacket. It is a few years old, pretty much good as new. Slight scuff marks on the right sleeve (barely noticeable).

I'm 6ft 225lbs and it fits me perfect. It is a size 46 US and 56 Euro

Jacket was 450$ new, I'll sell it for 175$ or best offer.

Yep it's warm. I think the liner for it is at my parents. You can swing by and try it on, your the town over from me. I never rode with the liner because it got to hot in the fall with it.

I have one of these jackets (same size) as well as the one piece suit. I think they are great jackets with features from the high end race suits. Mine protected me well during a 40 mph low side.

One of the things I really like about the jacket is the kevlar panels in the sleeves. These vent a ton of air, so when it is hot in the summer this is actually a pretty cool jacket as long as you're on the move.

One of the things I don't like about the jacket is the zip-in-liner. On my jacket, the liner is just a vest with no arms, so it only does so much to keep you warm with all the air the jacket flows. In other words, it doesn't prevent tons of air from flowing through the kevlar panels in the sleeves. Once it gets really cool, you'll need some sort of layer(s) underneath that prevents the airflow from reaching your arms. I pretty much leave the liner out and use other layers when it gets colder.
